Just a thought
The whole notion of cause and effect is ridiculous, as is any notion of meaning, and both for the same reason; because they are completely dependent upon the succession of time. Time itself is no more than a concept based upon the construct of memories. Memories, the idea that experiences have accumulated in ones past. Indeed, all reality begins and ends with idea. And what could possibly be more flawed than idea?
First of all, it is impossible to establish the existence of anything outside the scope of idea. Absent the "existence of things beyond idea", nothing can be more flawed (or more perfect). I say "impossible" because only idea
